THE CREATOR

Thank you so much for checking out my brand! My name is Domanique Lockett and I am the creator of Substance Strands. Just to let you know a little about myself, I am an educator born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I have been teaching for 4 years and I am a huge advocate for life-long learning.  Along my journey of growing as a God-Fearing woman, I have been blessed to encounter great people and receive wonderful nuggets of wisdom. Throughout the years, I yearned for things that reflected my views of the world and the way God has moved in my life. With that desire, Substance Strands was born. While brain-storming of a name that would capture my vision, the word substance was chosen because it focuses on a person’s morals, values, and character. A strand is a piece of a larger group which makes it unique. Substance Strands is a brand which seeks to fulfill both of those desires by displaying authentic revelations and inspiring others to live a well balanced, God-first life. As much as I have enjoyed my journey and these revelations, I pray that you find as much joy and vigor in my brand as I have in making it.
